Getting there
'Just get there how you can' the song goes. And there are lots of ways to get to The O2... tube, car, bus, river boat, DLR, even plane. In fact, the banks of the River Thames at Greenwich have never been so easy to reach.
Please note, on the weekend of 5 and 6 July 2008 the Jubilee Line will be closed between Green Park and North Greenwich. If you wish to reach The O2 by tube (North Greenwich) please travel via Canning Town (DLR), West Ham (District/Hammersmith & City) or Stratford (Central, DLR and National Rail).
- Tube
- Take the Jubilee line (that's the grey one for non-Londoners) to North Greenwich station. 7 stops, 15 minutes from Oxford Circus.
- Bus
- You wait ages, then six arrive at The O2. The M2, M1, 108, 188, 422, 472. And they were all cheap.
- River bus
- Travel by hi-speed boat along London's great river with the Thames Clippers. It's like arriving in one of those speedboats from Miami Vice. Kind of.
- Driving
- The M25 offers easy access by road. There will be 2000 parking spaces, but on events nights parking will be pre-booked only.
- Plane
- London City Airport is just minutes away, so getting here from across the UK and Europe is quick and easy if you like flying.
- Walking
- A short walk from historic Greenwich village. Take your time.
- DLR
- Close connections at Canary Wharf, Cutty Sark and Greenwich mean if you're near a DLR station, you're near The O2
- Fast-track entry
- Don't forget, if you're with O2, you can beat the queues using O2's blue lanes.
